Manager of Business and Process Development – Direct Metal

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Manager of Business and Process Development Direct Metal guides the commercial activities within the Direct Metal business of ExOne. Manager will create strategy, plans and tactics to grow PSC business. Manager will identify and help to develop strategic relationships with partners or potential customers. Manager will identify part opportunities and work with the PSC team and quality to turn the opportunity into a sale. Manager will grow leads development of new business opportunities that support the overall growth strategy of the Company.  Responsible for reviewing and analyzing the results of past campaigns and developing new initiatives and partnerships.  Expert knowledge of Company products, services and manufacturing processes a must.  Relies on good business acumen, judgement and experience to plan and accomplish goals.  Responsible for reporting out progress against key targets, quarterly and annual goals. Reports directly to Global Director – Direct Printing.  

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Engineering and five+ years’ experience selling 3D printed, powdered metal parts or equivalent. Proven success in developing applications and/or growing sales. Able to interact at all levels of the company.  Position requires excellent people skills.  Self-motivated and discipline with superb organizational skills and ability handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Physical Requirements:

Able to function as a Manager of Business and Process Development – Direct Metal in a manufacturing facility environment.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  Capable of domestic and international travel.  Manual dexterity and manipulations to operate a computer extensively.  Visual acuity to read detailed computer printouts and reports.  Must hold a valid driver’s license and current passport and/or visa.
