Systems Support Specialist

  • IT Generalist responsible for the support of various technologies including but not limited to ERP systems and other business applications, network servers, Exchange server, telephone systems, security, networking and computers.

  • Performs system and network administration activities  including system and application implementation, user management and performance management

  • Participates in security initiatives related to building and maintaining IT Governance.

  • Responsible for all aspects of networking administration and management including: installing and configuring software on network servers and workstations, providing training, and on-going client support.

  • Installs, configures, and supports internal and/or external systems.

  • Develops and maintains all systems, applications, security, and network configurations. 

  • Troubleshoots network issues, server issues and desktop issues. 

  • Recommends upgrades, patches, and new applications and equipment. 

  • May be required to supervise work provided by third party/temporary resources.

  • Some work may occur during non-business hours such as upgrades and critical support.

  • Providing on call support is a requirement.

  • Some travel required.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field and 5+ years hands-on experience preferred.

Process/Production Business Leader

Build out the operations of mono-metallic materials for ExOne. Accountabilities range from the simplest of tasks to being the thought leader for this material category. Setup and operate product related equipment which includes 3D printing equipment and thermal equipment for production parts and qualification of new powders. Obtain and measure production parameters for new powders to establish required specifications for appropriate alloys and standard operating procedures (SOP) for production. Work closely with engineering and R&D to obtain requirements for process control parameters and internal and external testing. Inspect parts to insure manufacturing process is being maintained (inspection shall include dimensional measuring, weight and visual and recording of results).  Implement and prepare build files. Work with Machine Build to do run-off on newly built machines. Work as the thought leader working closely with sales and customer service to establish necessary part offering criteria for customers.

 

Maintain 3D printing and support equipment.  Packing and unpacking of printed parts for thermal processing. Establish furnace profiles for new offerings based on internal and external testing results. Maintain all appropriate paperwork in support of shop floor procedures (fill out job routers, machine logs, etc.). Train other technicians as required.  Maintain work area in a neat and orderly fashion.  May train ExOne Service Technicians for new product offerings.

 

Obey all safety regulations.  Attend and participate in any training or education required by company.  Follow all company procedures and policies.  Maintain confidentiality and protect company technical and proprietary assets.

Associates degree in Engineering or equivalent required.   Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred.  Lean sigma and working knowledge of SPC.  Computer knowledge (basic utilization of Windows).

    • Provide analysis services in a defined project(s).  Develops requirements and supplemental specifications for new applications, processes and initiatives, or analyzes change requests/enhancements in existing applications.

    • Leads the identification and analysis of detailed requirements for process and system improvement.

    • Translates detailed requirements into functional system and process designs.

    • Develops use-case models, business analysis and task/workflow analysis.

    • Creates functional requirements to support solution evaluation.

    • Assesses and manages changes to documented requirements.

    • Provides direction in the development, maintenance and enhancement of processes, standards and methodologies.

    • Manage programs/projects that require vender involvement and non-client specific projects.

    • Documents requirement specifications according to standard templates.

    • Provides application support with regard to software change and incident and problem management activities.

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.  5+  years' experience in a manufacturing setting. 

    • 3+ years of Widows software development using C++ or C# preferred.  User interface and algorithm in engineering related applications preferred.
